The New World
… but what of the New World? Like the Earth Apple it too has proven unscalable.[1] Worlds, Old and New, hiding each other like that. Exactly what kind of a discoverie is the New World? A bivouac, a bulwark, a boulevard parting the sea down its middle, going the wrong way? Devicive. A thorn in the flesh, a crack in the mirror, a plank in the smooth eyeball of the globe? The new world, without doing a thing, through no fault of its own, fucked up a pretty lucrative plan. The reparations are still being exacted. As far as discoveries go, the new world ranks up there, in terms of scale and audacity, with the discovery of the wage[2].
The New World and the Globe; there are relationships there waiting to be explored – relationships of circularity: New World – Plantation, University, Nation – Globe.
Notes:
- New worlds lie over the horizon.
